All documents that are delivered to the Research Mail user interface must have a Document Group and Document Type before they can be sent to recipients.
If a unit of mail is hand-scanned or rescanned, the document may not have a Document Group or
Document Type. If a document is missing this information, manually assign the Document Group
and Document Type before routing the document to a recipient:
1. Open a document and review the setting for the Document Group.
a. If missing, select a Document Group.
2. Review the setting for Document Type.
a. If missing, select a Document Type.
o First Class (Default)
o Standard Class
